I'd like to introduce you to Joslyn. She's a senior representative from centennial high school and will graduate in May 2023. During her time in high school, joslyn was involved in a few activities, acting, art, german, and color guard. She was a member of her High School color guard team for four years and was the captain for two years. Because her high school color guard only has a team for marching band, she participated in armada's independent winter guard group for three years.

AFTER HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION, SHE PLANS TO CONTINUE HER COLOR GUARD ADVENTURES IN COLLEGE AS A MEMBER OF THE BLUE THUNDER MARCHING BAND COLOR GUARD AT BOISE STATE UNIVERSITY. WHILE THERE, JOSLYN HAS DECIDED TO PURSUE HER DEGREE IN INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES. THERE SHE WILL DIVE DEEP INTO HER LOVE OF ART AND THE GERMAN LANGUAGE. She is hoping to get an internship and become a tattoo artist after graduation. BOISE STATE AND BLUE THUNDER ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE HER TALENTS.
SPEAKING OF ART, IT WAS ONLY A FEW YEARS AGO (2019) WHEN WE LEARNED THAT JOSLYN HAS A TALENT FOR DRAWING AND PAINTING! BEING HER MOM, I WAS SO SURPRISED SHE HAD NEVER SHARED THAT TALENT WITH US BEFORE. WE PUT HER TALENT TO WORK IN THE SUMMER OF 2020. WE WERE ON LOCKDOWN, SO IT WAS THE PERFECT USE OF TIME. SHE DID A FENCE MURAL, AND I WILL NEVER BE TIRED OF IT! she has since provided her services to others who get to enjoy her beautiful work!
Of course, I have been thrilled to be her photographer! She has been in front of my lens since the day she was born. For my children, we create a four seasons senior portrait experience. This year was tough because it has been a long winter, however, the snow didn't stick around in the valley. Don't get me wrong, we have had a lot of snow, it just never worked out to get snowy winter photos! So, we opted for train depot photos with snow capped mountains in the background. BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN COLD AND WET FOR SO LONG,
WE had to bring OUR OWN FLOWERS TO HER SPRING PHOTO SHOOT. it is taking quite a while for spring to actually spring here in Boise.
One of my favorite things about photographing Joslyn in each of the seasons is that her hair is different in every session!

Before I get to more pictures, I wanted to share some awesome words of wisdom from Joslyn:
She says to be sure to relax your body during your photos. this is absolute solid advice! she also suggests that you don't overthink anything you are doing during your photo session, just relax and have fun!
For her final senior photoshoot, we needed some flowers. Like I mentioned earlier, it has been a long winter and the flowers and trees are not blooming yet. So, Jenna with Milestones Planning styled the photoshoot with a bouquet of flowers she created with eucalyptus and purple & white chrysanthemums. Not only was the bouquet perfect for the location we chose, but it smelled fantastic!
